Our Team

Ansel Morgan

Owner, Writer, and Illustrator

At just 9 years old, Ansel stands at the helm of his own creative empire as the youngest owner, illustrator, and author in the vibrant world of children’s literature. His inaugural masterpiece, "Catnip Cove and Shadow Swamp," not only showcases his profound love for cats and animals but also marks the beginning of what promises to be a luminous journey in storytelling and illustration. Ansel’s passion for the animal kingdom is matched only by his boundless imagination and keen eye for detail, qualities that breathe life into the characters and worlds he creates.

Ansel’s curiosity extends beyond the canvas and the page; he is a young aficionado of everything creative and shows an impressive inclination toward STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This unique blend of interests fuels his storytelling, allowing him to weave narratives that are not only enchanting but also subtly educational, sparking curiosity in young minds about the natural world and the wonders of technology.

His workspace is a testament to his multifaceted passions, dotted with sketches of fantastical creatures, blueprints for inventions yet to be made, and stories waiting to be told. Ansel’s approach to his work is multifaceted, believing that art and science are not mutually exclusive but rather complementary forces that, when combined, can lead to extraordinary creations.

Despite his young age, Ansel is already a visionary, looking to the future with a clear goal: to inspire his peers to explore their interests in both the arts and sciences, demonstrating that creativity knows no bounds. Through "Catnip Cove" and his subsequent works, Ansel invites readers into his vivid imagination, encouraging them to dream big and explore the limitless possibilities of their own creativity.

In Ansel’s world, a love for cats, a fascination with the animal kingdom, an enthusiasm for all things creative, and a curiosity about STEM coalesce to form the foundation of his burgeoning career. As he continues to explore and create, Ansel remains a beacon of youthful creativity and innovation, reminding us all of the power of young minds to shape the future of storytelling.
